When does Celestrio launch?

Is it iPhone only?
Yes, for now. Native iOS 17+ — built in SwiftUI for speed and privacy. Android is on the roadmap.
Is it free?
Your daily reading is free, forever. A subscription unlocks the depth tier — deeper Tu Vi interpretation, transit forecasting, chart synastry. Priced plainly. Single-tap to cancel from inside the app. No retention maze.
What about my data?
Your birth data is yours. We don't sell it, share it with third parties, train models on it, or read it in the background. Your chart is computed for you and shown only to you. See the comparison table above for what other astrology apps disclose.
Is this just another AI app?
No. The AI is the surface — what's underneath is a real chart engine (pyswisseph for Western, iztro for Tu Vi) computing your actual placements. The chat is interpretive, not prescriptive: it names what's present in your chart and what it might mean. It won't tell you what you "are."
I tried Co-Star or The Pattern. How is this different?
Co-Star and Pattern are Western-only and increasingly behind paywalls. Celestrio computes a full natal chart across three traditions including Vietnamese Tu Vi, keeps the daily reading free, and runs a chat that knows your actual chart. The daily reading is the product — not the lure for the upgrade.
Will the daily reading get paywalled later, like Co-Star's?
No. The daily reading is free, forever. The depth tier is the upgrade — not the daily ritual. We made this commitment publicly, on purpose, so you can hold us to it.
Why Tu Vi?
It's one of the oldest continuously practiced astrological systems in the world, and almost nothing exists for it in English. That's the gap we exist to close.
